Every chess player should have a hobby
Hobbies outside chess!
Of course! The question is how one should "tune" his other hobbies, with his chess study and practice...Day!

You mean other than intoxicants, chasing women, playing my bass too loud, writing my stories, and voicing opinions? Gee, not too many, I guess.

Sometimes I play Chess 960.
lol! :)
Running, books and other boardgames. (I'm practically a GM at "Clue.") :)
Used to be an RPGer also, but life's too short...

The pic is from a wallhacking website
And I quoted ehh... who did I quote? I don't remember who said it originally like so often. Maybe a Dutch guy called L. Prins. Maybe not. I'll use my premium version of Google and let you know what it says

Lodewijk Prins (1913-1999) said "The only thing Chess players have in common is Chess”.
Savielly Tartakower (1887-1956) said "All chessplayers should get a life".

I'll translate so everybody understands what you're talking about
- Foot massages (would you give a man a foot massage?)
- Reading Topics I Have Posted In
- Naughty movies (almost any, no further explanation)
- Garden prancing (idk, couldn't come up with anything)
- Avid alcoholic
- Obesitas
- Chilling with and entertaining my dawgz
- Trolling on Internet forums such as this one
(sorry to hear about your dog. Condolences)

In Fezzik's defense, I can definitely identify with naughty movies and alcoholism. I also tend to read my own posts, and even some other people's when I am bored. When I was younger and healthier I liked fighting too, but nowadays I have switched to more positional entertainments.

For Christmas LisaV is going to get a compilation of movies. Bad Girl's Dormitory, Under Lock and Key, and Caged Fear. Can someone else provide the popcorn?
Hobbies. Not enough time but, Bowling, Golf, Darts, Xword puzzles, movies, volunteering and of course occasionally sleeping.
How many hobbies do u have outside chess?!
(I mean the ones that u practice more or less often!!)
