Houdini for android

Have you yet beaten the c**p out of Critter and Stockfish?
Both are available for Android for free and are more than strong enough to checkmate me in 30ish turns.
I have been waiting for the Android version too, the author Robert Houdart even has wasted peoples free time to get some translations done with a promise of a free version. He has abandoned his Houdini Facebook page and ignores requests for new information on progress. From what was posted on facebook he stated back in January 2013 that progress was excellent but has not posted since. In my mind that makes me think that he is an arrogant type of personality.
Chessbase updates not fulfil.
ChessBase for Android is excellent, have had many updates and now with Stockfish and Critter can see that I won't need Houdini. ChessBase update their apps in timely manner and don't promise more than they expect to deliver.

It has been conjectured on another forum that Houdart dropped the Android version because there is no way for efficient copy protection and Houdard seems to be overly concerned about illegal copies.
I think this theory is reasonable.
