How bad is a 227 rating in rapid? Be brutally honest please

Watch john bartholomews fundamentals videos on youtube and use more of your clock time. Just because your opponent is moving fast, doesn’t mean you have to. I opened 10 of your games and you had more than 5 minutes left on your clock in 80% of them. Your playing 10 minute rapid not 5 minute blitz. Use your time, think about your moves, don’t blunder, control the center, attack your opponent intelligently or he will attack you. If you put pressure, he has to waste moves responding to your pressure. I bet you could get 600 easy in a week.

I started playing chess at 5 years old... I don't think I was ever 227, even during my very first games.
Not gonna lie... It's really pretty bad....
How can I increase my rapid rating what do i do I am on 1012
