How can a 1400 -1500 player improve ?

Any recommend ? i know reading rules but when i try i find out it's very defficult.
The Endgame book by Silman is supposedly the best...
Granted, I'm lower than you, but from what I've heard..

I got experince by playing many games as i just playing for fun but now it's not working...
