How can I study chess?

Hi everyone. I'm starting to play chess. My rating here in chess.com is <1000. But I want to study chess and be good at chess. I want to know: For my level, how to study? What books to use, software, etc.. If I need to troubleshoot tactic and strategy problems, suggest me books that have problems to solve, finally, I want to become good at chess, I know it takes time and dedication and I am willing to study.

I thank you.

I began by watching youtube videos (Matojelic's channel) and solving puzzles on gameknot. I use tactics trainer on here and the database is always nice to have.

There are many beginner books which will take you through the steps of improving. Amazon.ca is a good source. There have already been discussions on this forum recommending a number of volumes, you can search the forum history to locate. You will also find video lessons here at chess.com for beginners, along with Tactics, Puzzles etc., all of which will help you.

All the Best in your improvement.
