If you can successfully defend against his Wayward Queen assault and/or remove his queen from the board, his Elo instantly drops by about 700 points.
Nelson plays like a 100 when you remove/trade off the queen. You should learn how to defend against it
Are you playing as black or white
Play as black against Nelson. The game starts with e4-e5. When Nelson brings Queen to h5, you develop your black-squared bishop to c5 instead of playing knight to c5.
Obviously, Nelson will take the pawn on e5, giving your king a check. You should defend your king by bringing your queen to the e7 square. When Nelson takes your g-pawn, threatening to capture your rook, you bring your queen to h4.
Nelson would unwittingly capture a rook, hanging a mate in two. You should capture his c-pawn forcing his king to the d1 square and capture his light-squared bishop and its mate.
This is the best counter play to defeat Nelson.
