How did I get a Diamond Membership?

Apparently, yesterday someone gave me a diamond membership. Pretty Cool. Someone must love me. Who tho?

EVERYONE gets it at some point, don't worry it's a clever marketing move.You use it,you like it, you double like it because it's free,you have a good impression left from it , your chess rating increases because of it (general well being,new and positive emotions) and then it expires after a week . Suddenly you are unhappy , disappointed, mood changes, all that reflects on your rating AND you don't see all that big picture , but what you see is a small picture thinking to yourself oh no now I don't have a membership ,no proper training no wonder my rating drops ....

Next thing you know , you purchasing a membership.

Everyone will get a diamond membership at some point for a week only as a trial and then when it expires they will constantly ask you : do you want to upgrade? do you want to upgrade? are you ready yet to become a member etc...

Any admirers out there? I could really use a Diamond Membership! 🌹

At some points this happens, I remember Urk happily telling everyone he has a membership now.

I doubt this happens to everyone but from a marketing perspective this is a common way to attract more paid registrations.

But I have it for a month, thats the funny part, it's not just the free trial

It's quite normal to find usernames with a diamond over years, without any games played these years, not even tactics, then coming back asking weird questions in forum. Happens and no big deal.

lol, I had a very funny thought. You get the free trial and do all the leasons in 7 days because they aren't big and you are tranined the problem though is that I don't have a credit card...😪
