How do i change my settings so I can receive random challenges?
Sort:
When you send a random challenge, you are paired with someone else who is randomly challenging with the same time control. Your opponent didn’t accept you challenge, chess.com paired you two together without either of you having a say in the matter
So how do I send a random challenge?
Just make a game. Click the start new game button. Like you would always do to play a game.

Maybe. Go to Setting/All Settings. Click on Live Chess to see the challenge settings. They may need adjusting, especially "Allow Challenges". Good luck.

Hi there, Chess.com won't allow me to challenge players with higher ratings than mine even though the random match often has me playing against someone who is 400 higher than me. Is there a way for me to set what rapid rating I wish to challenge and accept if I lose? It doesn't seem logical that Chess.com will choose players with significantly higher ratings but won't let me challenge these types of players.
