I have games where white is up on the evaluation bar despite the material count being equal. As we know, that is a result of positional pressure, piece activity and limiting blacks counter play.
I play at a club and like to mix it up instead of being predictable. I prefer sidelines against stronger or repeat opponents because it can get difficult when they cannot identify the plans or find the best moves deep into a line.
