How do I insert a diagram to notation in ChessBase 13?

If I try to do so through the context (right-click) menu > Insert Diagram (there's no special button for that in CB13) then all I get inserted is the word "Diagram" with some funky symbol next to it, but not the actual image of the board. It looks like this:
What should I do to see the image of the board in my notation in CB 13? And, BTW, I'm just curious, what is the purpose of that word "Diagram" with that symbol, what is that for?
