My tactics rating is 1650. My ELO rating (using the positions) is 1600, but my rating on here for games never gets above 1200. It seems like there is a big disconnect. Has anyone else experienced this?
1200 seems like a very mediocre to below average player. 1600 seems like a strong player. I have no idea where I am.

Ratings aren't an objective measure like how fast someone runs or high someone jumps. So 1200 here isn't the same as 1200 on a different website, and as you noticed even on the same website different categories make a difference.

Tactics ratings here tend to be around 400 points higher than the game ratings.

1200 may seem bad to you, but I bet there are a lot of players at that rating who have played for a few years and done some light studying. They have openings they like to play, and know tactics like forks and pins. It's not a rating you're going to be better than automatically
