For me, using books was a big part of my study strategy. Everyone is different and needing different materials at different times, but there are a few key books I'd recommend to just about everyone as a means to improving to 2000. 1) How to Reassess Your Chess, by Jeremy Silman 2) Think Like a Grandmaster, by Alexander Kotov 3) The Art of Attack, by Vladimir Vukovic. Good luck Luke!

Hello everyone, I've been rated around 1550 - 1600 for a little while now and I have been playing a lot of chess. I have been analyzing my games, solving puzzles, and I have watched a couple you tube videos on openings. I was wondering if someone could give me advice on how to make the next rating jump, and what I should be doing to get there. Thank you so much!
