How do you think this variation of chess would affect the game?

Really just interested to hear input. I'm not saying this variation would be good, winnable, or even fun. Just want to know what peculiarities that you think would arise. Me and a friend were discussing an imaginary variant of chess that as far as I know doesn't exist. The game would be played on an 8x8 board with fairy-esque pieces (Same pieces, just modifications to them), just like a typical game of orthodox chess. The changes would be as follows:

1) The rook and bishop swap capturing rules. Thus:

a) The Rook moves orthogonally when moving normally, but must capture diagonally.

b) The bishop moves diagonally when moving normally, but must capture orthogonally.

2) The King and Queen swap capturing rules. Thus:

a) The queen Moves any number of spaces in a straight line of any direction during normal movement, but can only capture one square away like a king would.

b) The King may only move one square in any direction when moving normally, but may jump across the board any number of squares like a queen so long as he captures a piece. Because this would be a powerful way to get out of check, the King is NOT allowed to capture a piece more than one square away from him if that piece is putting him into check. (Though you may capture something like a hanging piece if in check, so long as capturing said piece doesn't put you back into check.)

Knights and Pawns would retain their normal functions.

Again, not saying the variation would be good, or even playable. Just curious to see if there's anything peculiar, odd, fun, or interesting about said rules.

Don't really see anything regarding bumping threads here, so I've waited a considerable amount of time without a response and am therefore bumpin this.
