How do you think when assessing a position?

Since we think in the common language we speak, I just wondered what you thought in your mind when assessing a position? Examples:

1) "I take, they take, I take, they take, etc..."
2) "take, take, take, take, etc..."
3) "I take him, he takes me, I take him, etc..." (or her, etc...)
4) "oh shit.." - Magnus (game 2 post interview WC 2018)

I personally really don't do any calculation when "evaluating a position". Obviously you can't ignore tactics and mating combinations. But in actual evaluation of a position I would do things like look at pawn structure, good B vs bad B, active minor pieces v inactive, outposts, islands, where is my space v my opponents space .... etc.
