It looks like you haven't played any games in more than a month.
If you are still bothered by something someone said to you, you can still report them and /or block them.

How do you win after I get cursed at?
The same way I do anything else after you get cursed at.
Stick a post-it on the screen, so you are unable to see what they are saying.
Then play them again.
AND (this is the most important part) TALK A LOT OF TRASH!!
Pretend you can read what he is saying.
Then, after you checkmate him, tell him you have no idea what he might be saying. Tell him the last line you read, 15 minutes ago.
They rage-quit, every time!
😁
disable chat in live , you come here to play chess not leave yourself open to abuse , sadly the internet provides many with the opportunity to bring the honourable game into the sewer , not all will insult most will not , but you cannot tell , so disable chat in live op
That's probably the logical choice if someone is experiencing *regular* verbal abuse...or one could always cuss them out for return (and get Muted by chess.com in the process; which would serve the same purpose, ironically, since Muted players can neither chat nor be Chatted with).

While cursing is generally considered a bad opening, it hasn't been totally refuted yet.

Shut up!
As others have been saying, act as if the chat wasn't there. If they're cursing in chat, they might be cursing themselves for a blunder. If they're cursing at you, they're trying to psychologically set you off kilter. As Socrates Once said, "When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the losers."
