Hi comrades. I am russian. I sing the USSR anthem every day twice a day and I would like to join chess classes in my motherland. Do any of you know what my expectations for a russian chess school should be like?

Thanks in advance.

Hello comrade. I am part of Russian chess school. We have much good time. Much vodka. Every pawn == one shot.

How do I get into a Young Pioneer Palace? And yes ulf, russian chess books are 100 times better than the crap Americans and their New In Chess editorials produce. Thats why Fischer learnt russian.

It depends on how much vodka you can drink. The more the better.

Lol BronsteinPawn, you better change the Mexican flag for a Russian one.

I guess the Russians works a lot more  on the endgame. Russians have said about Norwegian experts that the Norwegians plays like GMs in the opening, experts in the middlegame and amateurs in the endgame.

Botvinnik said it right, A master must learn how to calculate. All their training is on this skill alone. That is the Russian system and very few players are willing to go through rigid training to become a master.

What does the national anthem have to do with anything?

The fact that I can sing in Russian and do it two times a day automatically makes me russian and therefore gives me acess to russian health care and chess schools.

Dale

Chess in a palace sounds like a comfortable strategy.

The Russian system is focused on LONG-TERM IMPROVEMENT, not short-term trickery or shortcuts.  It's not just about studying endgames, though those are very important, of course.   It's a philosophy, a belief that there is a right way to train and a wrong way to train.

i think the american system is the only one based on opening traps so not surprised there buddyboy.

The Russian chess school goes like this.  Do you like playing chess for a living?  Good.  Win your next tournament or you will become a factory worker!

did you guys hear that Americans think the US was the protagonist in WW2? HA. AMERICANS WOULD HAVE POOPED THEIR INTESTINES OUT IF THEY HAD TO ENDURE A SINGLE DAY IN STALINGRAD.

I was considering joining chess.com university to try it out but after reading that I am moving out to Russia.
