How easy is it to cancel Fide Online Arena?

Does anybody know how easy it is to cancel with fide online arena? Thinking of getting an online title via them but not sure how easy it is to unsubscribe after getting one/if it would stay on my fide profile if i did. Thanks/Best, Kevin

Pretty sure if you let your membership lapse you lose the title on the profile.

You are pretty sure and you are wrong as well as many. 

These titles  once won remain for ever.  (And you could use it in OTB tournaments.)

When the program started. But I just checked the earliest archived version of the regulations, at least at the same published location, and it appears I'm wrong. Unless it was published elsewhere; I thought I had read that was only active while an FOA account had a paid membership.

Actually, the program started way earlier that the archivrd document I looked at. I'll have to see if I can find the old version.

Why would anybody want to use a FIDE online title in OTB chess?  "Hey, I'm an Online IM.  I'm ALMOST 1800!!"

I cringe at the thought.

I found one reference from a player that had their title removed from their profile in 2015, but nothing official about it.🤔

In my opinion,  we the low rated players live in outer space thinking that the most part of the FIDE tournaments are for GMs. No, the most part of them are for less 2000 of ELO ratings so these titles are a good reference plus a  motivation for us. And as I said before, the FIDE arena players are stronger than in here.  As you invent your initial chess.com  rating you delude yourself wrting a 2000 rating but your real level in FIDE arena could be 1000 or less.
