Congratulations : it certainly is a significant progress !
How I went from 893 to 1100 in 2 days, a beginners progress

Well done. It will be fun to see which new 'key' you add to your game will contribute to the next big jump. Keep us updated!

Well I changed my opponent options to -50 to +200 and my score has taken a hit. But I am learning more like how not to just react.

Hmmm I stopped playing chess for a week I was rated 1300. And I worked on not making so many blunders in a few days I went to 1400, it's kinda a big change coz now u rely on good positions and tactics instead if single attacks and hopes your opponent blunders, but yeah 800 to 1000 is a good job well done

I had faced a person who is 600 point higher than me, (I am 1400) he ended up obliterating me, I said wow how do u do it? He simply told me " it's a you problem not a me problem" blundering and single piece attacks don't work much, but yeah... Anyway good progress just study tactics and in a few days, weeks you'll find your rating higher :)
I have been playing chess a long time but have never really put my mind to it. Cuz Im lazy. But I love chess and hate losing so I decided to get serious and study. So I changed one thing and really changed my game. I decided to try and develope my pieces instead of going for quick checkmates. Trying to develop every piece and only move them once while protecting my king. Especially resisting the temptation to bring my queen out. Or move automatically. Suddenly I found myself winning more games and gaining over 200 points. i know many of you guys see a 1100 as a puny rating but for me it's a start and much better than the 800's.
