Unfortunately for humans it takes many years to get a good "opening book" into our memory!
How important is opening( Opening can increase up to 150 elo)

Some tests in chess engine testing showed that good opening book can increase rating +100 to 150 ( depends on depth of opening book).
Today I saw testing "Bong cloud"(the worst opening) among top engines. After about 12 games, data show that Bong cloud decrease the engine rating up to 400 elo .( Top engines can still be able to get equal performance against -400 elo weaker engine).
That being said, applying that data among human, if 2800 rated Nakamura play Bongcloud vs 2400 human GM, he would probably get 50% scores but he will still beat 2000 rated players. 😀😀
