I got a puzzle today that showed a white king being checked and it was black to move and he moved his knight to block the check, I took a picture of the puzzle but I don't know how to post it.
Here’s a position. To get a position like that look at the top of the comment thing where it has a smiley face and a video picture go to the chessboard one and click it there you can make an position!
no, this is a chess puzzle from chess.com tactics, my question is how is it legal in chess to get to that position, or is it just a mistake, I think it's a mistake but I'm not sure

There isn't a puzzle that looks like that in your last 5 puzzles.

There must have been a white piece on e3 that black captured with the knight jumping from d5 to e3. When you have solved the puzzle, go back and check the analyzis of the puzzle. Should show what piece was on e3 :)
