I am a 1400 player but my blitz rating is like, 700 or 800 or something stupid like that. seems like blitz ratings here on chess.com are worth more than classic..
how many players in blitz chess have rating more than 1200 in chess.com ?

What is Blitz to you? If you play a 3 minute game it is considered blitz, if you play 10+5 game, it is also considered blitz and yet it is a whole different thing.

Any rating less than 2000 is Crap anyway. So 1200 or 1900 doesn't make much of a difference.
^^

I agree. A player with 1200 rating is the exact same thing as a player with 1900 there is no difference what so ever.

There is a difference in playing strength but both ratings are still crap.

Acoording to http://www.chess.com/livechess/players it looks like around a third of the player are over 1200.

thanks tenet0 for the link. I got the stats there.

not more than 1000 players over 1500 rating in blitz here I guess.
That's a crappy guess. There are something like 100 times that.

The thing to do is look at player with a specified grade then look/ask their ranking via stats. It will tell total number of players as well as how far from no.1 you/they are.

Doesn't that only apply to cheating chess? sorry, I meant to say correspondence chess
Isn't value 1200 a starting one? If yes, then about 50% of players should be above it in accordance to a normal distribution. Look at http://www.chess.com/livechess/players?type=Standard. Then look at http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=normaldist%281200%2C+300%29. In Wolfram Alpha there is a Plot of CDF which stands for a fraction of values below that value (0 means no one, 1 means all, 0.5 is for 50%, etc.). Thus only about 15% of players are at or above 1500. It is not 100% accurate because of players at extremely high or low rating - and for blitz the curve is somehow deformated...

I only play Blitz (10mins) and my ~1650 puts me at ~65,000 out of ~1,600,000

10% , 20% or more ?
1200 rating you get on entry but mostly slide below that in blitz chess.
