how many points do you get for a win?

If you play and beat someone 500 points beneath your level, sometimes you can only win 2 or so points.
Same deal for loosing. And for drawing games.

So what determines an 8 point vs a 9 point win when a draw is expected???

I have two accounts but one ID get 7-8 points and other one get like 20-30.why??
Is this normal or what?

The first few games are like rank up games. They give much more ELO.

The first few games you play, you may win/lose more than 100 points. Then it slowly decreases to about 7-9. (If you play against a lower rated player, you get fewer points for winning, and vice versa.)
I play regularly, win regularly, still I get only 8 points per each win. Is it a way to award your subscribers? 8 points only?

How many points depends on the difference in ratings between the players and their respective rating deviation (RD) values
