200 rating points stronger in those areas

It's hard to quantify as there are so many variables, but if both players are accurately rated, and they reach an endgame, the 2200 will likely be 2 pawns up or more.

So far , 2200 tend to calculate 2 or 3 moves ahead than the 2000 player. also have a better understanding of endgames. When you cross the 2000 elo range, matches are defined by even a single pawn, so tactics come in to play to have more chances.

Note: There is no difference between a 2000 elo player and a 2100 player. its pretty much the same.

Like the difference between a bobcat 2200 and a big battle hard tomcat 2000

Roughly pawn odds worth of difference.

2 or 3 moves is a huge overestimation. Were it the case, the 2000-rated player would certainly  score 0 points out of 100. Instead, the expected score is 25 / 100.

There are these leaps in progress, as if seeing a new level. I agree 1950 to 2050 is pretty much the same in terms of complexity - yet the 2000 player is more accurate. Above 2200 it's a radically different level.

It's like a 1000 player vs. a 1500 player, the intermediate is playing a completely different game that the amateur can't see. They don't have a clue why the stronger opponent plays these specific moves because they can't see the sequencing and advanced tactics.

The same goes for 2400, 2500, 2600, 2700 and above 2800 basically every 10 points is a new level. At 2800 you basically have to be able to calculate just about everything.

So the differences are exponentially bigger with higher elo rating. 100 points difference above 2600 might feel as much as 500 points difference under 1000 level.

That's why it takes the average learner ages to jump from level to level. You have to know which level you'll be content with.

Assuming they are both accurately rated, then the 2200 should secure a +2.0 eval. advantage (or more), by the time they reach an endgame ...
