Obsessed doesn’t really apply to me, but having a passion for the game definitely does. I’d probably say maybe 8/10 for “obsession” with chess, but I’ll add that this term can have a negative connotation with it; some things could be a reliance, but wouldn’t use the word “obsessed” even if true. People are “obsessed” with oxygen, but I wouldn’t phrase it that way for survival.

this is a anonymous acc, i have more than 70000 games stacked in chess com and abt 50000 in lichess im tryin for IM otb

i was very obsessed with it but i had to stop playing like a year ago i would get so mad when losing. but after years break im back and hopefully i can take it better now
9 out of 10. I play (or think about) chess many times a day, and have done so for over 20 years now ...
Also tell why you are obsessed with chess?
