Haha. I felt so lonely around 400. My roommate went to sleep and I almost abandoned it too. Luckily I manage to open youtube and from then on, it was easier.

You programmed this yourself? It's an amazing way for me to waste hundreds of hours and to brag to my friends and tol tell my parents that Internet forums DO provide useful information. Other than that, my highscore is EIGHT and my OTB is 1700 so I guess that World Record of 1111 is pretty amazing...

You'll soon see that you learn them and the only thing limiting your score is patience.
Not that that is a bad thing, pattern recognition is a large part of chess.
Yeah, if you can get to 100, you can get to 1,000.
