how to be better in blitzs

I usually plays 3minutes game.Before 1 month I have 1596 blitzs rating on chess.com.But suddenly what happened I don't know I consistently loose a game against low rated players and now I struck in 1300 ratings.I usually lost in time.Is it happened due to I change my playing style from attacking to positional.(I means I have to try play a positional chess from last month).
