How to gain USCF fast?

Now that there is covid, it's hard to gain USCF for me.

I want to be Grandmaster, but my USCF is only 961.  Does anyone have any tips on how they found many tournaments and how they gained rating fast?

Grandmaster is a FIDE title. If you really are so good, you could just find a FIDE tournament with some Grandmasters in it and beat up on the players in it.

Do that three times and you'll be a GM.

You need to get a fide rating first.

By playing in FIDE rated over the board events

I'm only 961 USCF and if I play fide rating people, i probably lose

You are 1884 rated in blitz here, which is quite a respectable rating for someone rated 961 USCF.

Whenever tournaments start up again, you should do quite well and your rating will probably rise pretty swiftly if you can use the extra time successfully. If you play in Swisses, you will probably plow through the early rounds until you get to face some tougher competition in the later rounds.

Try to enjoy it.

My suggestion is when tournaments open back up, to really focus on each game, and if you can, enter into higher rated brackets (i.e. under 1700 section if you are playing under 1400 section, even if your rating is low). If you want to progress fast you cannot afford losses to opponents weaker than you or even slightly better than you, which can easily happen if you throw a game away or make a bad move

Then you have no hope in hell for becoming a grandmaster in the foreseeable future.

Dont dream so much its very difficult to become one if you say it,it doesnt happen aim for NM,im 1639 USCF and I know I have no chance to be GM,aim for small things first at least get your rating to 1500,also you fear loss,I dont think you have a chance if you change its possibile.
