Ok sorry I erased the image.

I just want to know what are the conditions for a checkmate and the conditions for a tie?

hellwarrior

Ok I think I found the answer. When an opponent is not checked but can't move, it's a tie but when this opponent is check and then can't move then he is checkmate.

Am I ok?

Yep, you got it. Also, read this: http://www.chess.com/learn-how-to-play-chess

Ok thanks for your help. I just dont want to loose this game like I did a few months ago with a friend. I blocked him and he wasn't able to move so instead of a win, I got a tied.
