At the 1000 rating level, you can improve your rating by about 500 points if you just stop blundering pieces away, and grab enemy pieces when your opponent blunders them.
In your last Daily game (played at 3 days per move) you missed a chance to win a piece, then you blundered away your Knight, and then dropped your Queen to a Knight fork. At three days per move, you had plenty of time to spot those threats.
So just working to improve your situational awareness should gain you hundreds of rating points.
Personally, as a lower ranked player (600) I fight player that are maybe 2.5 times my rating. If I lose I do not get rating taken away. And if I win I get a windfall of extra rating.

Solve chess puzzles. Puzzles helped me a lot to improve myself in chess
