How to improve

Hello. I am 13 years old. I want to improve in chess. What will I need to do? I need your help.

I have already started reading some books on chess. What will I need to do to go further?

Which books have you been reading?

Only a few, including Silman's Complete Book of chess Strategy, The Art of Attack in chess, and How to think like a Grandmaster. I had to download these books, because they are not available here.

If your a complete beginner then buy a used bobby Fischer teaches chess on amazon.then maybe another beginner but much larger and in depth/comprhensive book like comprehensive chess course vol.2 by Lev alburt.kingcrusher Youtube videos on your favorite chess games.google best chess games ,go through them ,find your favorites then perhaps find Youtube videos about them.Paul Morphygames are probably the most useful

I think you should play more serious games and analyze them . Also solve some chess puzzles based on tactics and strategy. That will help a lot.
