how to manage your time to improve in chess along with studying?

i was also a B. Tech student(now passed out) and i do know the routine of the life there.. i think u should have enough time to study both ( Engg. & Chess)

If you're a student you should have plenty of time to study chess also. Now, with a fulltime 60 hour/week job, wife, kid and mortgage. That's another matter...

I am studying btech third year. till now I have participated in only one fide tournament and got rating around 1400. how can I manage chess along with my education?
