How to play daily chess and win faster!

Coming from a 2400 live player, 1900 daily player, here is what I recommend:

1. Use the master's database. If you have a diamond membership, then this is much easier since the database is given to you in the analysis board of the daily game! If you don't have a diamond membership, you can always navigate to lichess's masters database, as it's the same thing. The master's database is a great tool If you don't know the theory for an opening, you can check what top grandmasters have played in the exact position you have in the opening!

2. Use the notes in the analysis tab. Probably the most important rule if you want to gain rating in daily chess, but this will be a lot harder if you spam games (100+ at a time). Evaluate the position of your games and write them down in the notes! This will prevent you from blundering significantly.

3. Study with videos and books about the positions you are in. If you are in the opening stages of the game, look up a video on how to play your opening better. If you are in the middlegame stages, refresh your mind on the middlegame principles. In any endgame stages, you can look up the specific video for it. If you are in a lucena position, view a video on it! etc etc.

4. If you are a higher-rated daily player already (1600+), I recommend playing aggressive gambits (even if you don't play them) against lower-rated opponents, typically 1500 or less in rating. It is really a fantastic way of catching them off guard and winning quickly. As white, I recommend wing gambit or smith morra against sicilian, and kings gambit or danish gambit against e4 e5. as black i reccomend elephant gambit or stafford gambit against e4, and englund gambit or benoni against d4. Don't be afraid to play ultra aggressive, it works out i promise!

5. Check out your opponent. View their profile, see what openings they play (openingtree.com), and see what openings they struggle with and play the openings they struggle with against them! See if they are lower rated in daily but higher rated in live time controls (for example, 1100 daily player but is an 1800 rated rapid player, in this case, rule 4 does not apply as their daily rating is NOT their actual rating, so be aware of that).

I hope this helps! Stay improving, daily players!

btw, the tips I give are not cheating. If you are confused, according to chess.com's daily chess rules, you can use master's database, openingtree, videos, books, whatever, as long as you are NOT using an engine!
