Doesn't always work for me. It works for everyone just fine but after I take a break I lose my momentum..

Hello chess friends!
I have been playing chess for quite some time now, but my blitz rating plateaus in the mid 1600-1700 range. I lose a lot of rating for tilting issues. As per the chess.com game review, my estimated elo often reaches 1900-2100 range for rapid game.
What precautions should one take to avoid such catastrophe? Has anyone been able to avoid the same? I have watched a couple of videos but their tips don't seem to work for me...
Please help me out!
