How to set up a chess engine?

I am 13 years old and I have downloaded the free Rybka 2 lately, and I dont know how to set it up! There are a lot of fancy computer terms and lots of files that I don't know what they are. All I know is that I need Rybka compatible GUI software (GUI is the only computer term I know) to make Rybka work, and I don't even have one. What else do I need? Can someone give me a link to a website that is simplified for kids that would give me instructions on how to use it?

You have to get a gui first.

Scid is a good free one. You can get it here:

http://scid.sourceforge.net/download.html

If you're looking for a relly simple GUI I'd suggest downloading ChessX, which doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of SCID (mentioned in the post above), but is very easy to use.
