how to stop fritz 12 at resighning wen its loosing i want to play on

wen i practice against computer say pawn king vs king wen fritz calculates its loosing it simply resigns and i dont get a chance to practice till end can anyone help me about how to change the settings so that it plays till the end

I think you can just press the space bar and it will start thinking again right away (even after resigning).  I don't know how to stop it from resigning sorry.

okkay so has the programer set it as permanent setting?

I'm not sure, I know shredder has an option to play on but I don't know about fritz. My houdini doesn't resign.

My ancient copy of Fritz has an option that can be set for Fritz to never resign. I'm sure Fritz 12 also has this option. You'll just have to find it.

Just press the space bar or play your move and it will continue playing.This is what I do with my Fritz 13.

There is an option, not sure about 12 but in 13 it is on the Options/Game tab, that lets you set resign to Early, Late or Never. 

hmmm mishrashubam were did u get 13?i tried apacebar but after everemove it asks i resign wch is very @pwarin">irritating.. ...@pwarin i dont think its in 12

In Fritz 11, there is an option to make the engine never resign.

Tools --> Options --> Game --> Resign Never --> OK

Don't know about 12, but it would be surprising, if they changed that.

I think we're going to need a volunteer for one of us to go over to Sam's house, sit down in front of his computer, and change the setting for him.

In Fritz 12, click the large "T" icon in the top-left. Then click on "Options". Then click on the "Game" tab. You then have the choice of "Resign":

• Never
• Late
• Early

I have never played any Fritz, come to think of it,  I have never played any Gustav either

Wouldn't know, it's always me who is resigning.
