They don't really talk. However, if you turn on the chat option in settings (Custom), they will make rude and or funny remarks.

You can also turn on hints, takebacks, evaluations and other such things.

To chat with bots while playing on Chess.com, you need to enable "Bot Chat" within the custom game settings. When playing against bots, locate the settings, often found near the time control options, and toggle "Bot Chat" on. This will allow the bots to make comments and engage in conversation during the game.

Steps to enable Bot Chat:

Start a game against a bot: Go to the "Play" menu, select "Play Bots", and choose your desired bot opponent.

Access Custom Settings: Before starting the game, look for options like "Custom" or "Settings".

Enable Bot Chat: Find the "Bot Chat" toggle switch within the settings and turn it on.

Important Notes:

If "Bot Chat" is turned off, the bot will not make any comments.

You can also adjust other settings like hints, takebacks, and evaluations in the custom settings.

Some users have reported that bot chat can sometimes be intrusive, even when turned off.
