This forum is aimed at explaining diffrent chess software and how to combine each one's talents to get the most out of your analysis PLEASE contribute what I miss or may have said wrong. () inside the parethesis tells what utilities to use.

lets start off with Rybka 3 and 4 (using these softwares blunder check and Positional tutor are plus your own analysis is a good way of going over quick miniature games)

Firtz 13 (fritz new CLOUD feature is just amazing for deeper looks into late opening early middlegame phases observations)

Megabase (from what I hear Megabase database software gets updated every 2weeks or having 5 thousand games added to it each time which is nifty when one is doing opening prep)

Chess Assistant 11+ (from what I hear it has special search functions to where you can search a position simply from the pawn structure and nothing else this is great for creating middlegame ideas based off how other games were the structure was is played)

Rybka 3+ & Fritz 10+ (all these engines and there diffrent versions have endgame tables which of course helps one with his endgame play.)

Other software such as bookup Stockfish Scid etc.. I did not comment on cause I do not have these programs nor have I really read anything about them and there funtions. PLEASE GIVE YOUR FEEDBACK.
