Could be anything. People play drunk sometimes.

Maybe the person had a kid who was just learning chess and was playing with you

Even strong players can make mistakes, especially if they're not focused or playing too quickly.

MaetsNori

The 2000 made some serious blunders. Perhaps they were distracted. Or perhaps they're simply over-rated.

A better question might be: why is a 2000 playing against an 800 in the first place?

#3 — this is why my rapid rating is in the toilet lmao

Blitz is worse chessbrahs lost to a 100 once

IeJoker

The dude isn't even 2000 he plays unrated against 1000-1400s

IeJoker

There is less than a 1% chance an 800 will ever beat a 2000 with accurate rating...that guy was just playing unrated...and it looks like that's what he's mostly doing

IeJoker

His win rate against other 2000 is horrible...looks like he's got a ratio of like 2 wins to 12 loses

Mazetoskylo

Certainly 800-ish play from both.

Leaving "micro-details" like throwing away pawns aside, Black blundered a piece no less than three times, and you kindly declined the offer in all cases.

Bro's drunk

Ibrahim_Trejo

Investigué sus perfiles, el supuesto (2000) es una cuenta de un amigo tuyo que hace trampa y juega contra ti para que tu ganes y ganar Elo.

GMAkashGorai

We were playing unrated I defeated him at first try but the we did 3 rematch and I lost all

and no he wasn't drunk also he don't have kids it was somekind of blunder or mistake I I noticed

GMAkashGorai

And I also did some blunder he didn't noticed

Not really your forgetting missclicks.... Or hanging mate in one it's a lot higher than you think

Obviously we aren't talking about slips rn...I'm talking about the rating difference...also this is a rapid game, so the slips would be reduced by a crazy amount...if my man was slipping, he did it like 10 times 🤣
