Baseballfan is right. 1 year and 2 months on this site and I'm currently on move 17 of my SECOND game. I am thoroughly burned-out and 1 game a year is about all I can handle. I must admit though that I love vote chess. It's a whole new twist on chess. You can basically move at your your leisure.

When Lightforce resigns, I will be taking a break from playing chess, but not from TALKING. I may start considering challenges in the spring or summer of '09 (over One year after I started my first vote chess game).

Start thinking about it now people. Here are my RULES if you want to challenge me:

1) I will not play individuals. I Played nearly 1 million games with individuals and am bored with it. I love the aspect of me vs. a team of people. See, it makes me look stronger than I already am (is it possible?) when I dismantle a think-tank of 50+ chess scholars running the latest progs on the latest comps. I mean, look at the STATURE that I have risen to by slapping lightforce (dozens of prog users)around the board. Begin recruiting your players now. I'm 2-0. Remember, unless I get checkmated or a checkmate is found, it's a win for me.

2) I will be using a chess program to influence my moves. As an above average chess player myself, I have the knowledge and skills necessary to second guess my program and give it guidance when attempting to find the best move. I suggest that any potential team purchase the latest version of the program of your choice and upgrade your RAM.

3) One day per move. I am currently playing a 3 day per move game and I think I'd rather have a root canal than continue on.

4) I MUST be granted a MINIMUM of one week of vacation to be used in any increments whenever I see fit . See, as members of a team, you have an advantage of not making a move for a day or two if you dont feel like it, because other team members will pick up the slack. I DO NOT have that luxury. There will be times that I will not be around and CANNOT make a move within a 24 hour period. I get vacation time. I will not be made a monkey of again. I promise.

I await your reply.

i'm going to close cheater_1's account unless he honestly admits that he lost the Chess.com vs. cheater_1 vote chess game fair and square. he already admitted that in his post-game commentary (blaming it on his chess engine). now he's trying to rewrite history and claim he was forced to resign.

this is a lie i will not tolerate. you lost fair and square. cheater_1, come clean now. you are a goof that i permit to stay around because people love watching the rodeo clown get pushed around and made to look stupid.

but to beg me for a game,  have me agree to it, and then not own up to the outcome, that is a cowardice and immaturity that i will not withstand.

recant, or you have 24 hours until your friendly local chess.com dictator disables your account.

About time.

Much_Afraid

I don't know if the act of conceding and admitting defeat is a characteristic of Cheater_1's grand internet persona he has created for himself, but this sure will be interesting to watch.

Do u understand what "freedom of speech"means?

bastiaan

Haha that's really nostalgic, this thread had been dead for years. I wonder if cheater_1 is still here.

Ps. @macer75: there was a long story before this. I understand that, without context, it may seem a bit harsh.

NO, I am not accepting that I could beat cheater_1 in chess. cheater_1 claims a rating of 1900 that's impossible for him especially if my highest is only 1624 how is he going to get to 1900. It is IMPOSSIBLE.

It is possible he is 1900. Not enough info here.

What site is he playing at? What are the time limits on his games? Did he get luck and beat 1 1900 player ove and over again in his first 3 games and played bums afterwards. Maybe it was that he was lucky enough to have several opponents TIme out!

He said he was 1900 USCF. I frankly believed him at the time, and still do now, given it's not actually that hard to reach.

Forever, or tomorrow, whichever comes first.
