I feel as if I don't use my Queen enough.

You know how one of the first tips is don't pull your Queen out to early. I see a lot of high level people do it and win with success. I rarely use my Queen usually end game or if I find a mate. Any advice on using my Queen more efficiently.

Forget about bringing out your queen earlier. I think you need to study basic endgames. Here, you threw away a draw.

If you knew anything about basic king and pawn endgames, it would have been obvious to you that trading rooks here would be a quick way to lose.

There two ways to draw here. Trading the rooks loses by force. It brings about a basic king and pawn endgame where you are just lost.

If you go back through this game, you made numerous mistakes in this basic endgame.

There's even an atrocious saying that goes approximately like this. Every rook ending is a draw except the one that isn't.

The pieces are all merely tools. You can sac your Queen for a pawn (See: Anand, Marshall) if it means mate.  Otherwise, in the opening/early midgame, keep her active but safe.
