That is exactly i wont indulge the drama queen. I made my point. Its done.
I got banned for having multiple accounts wrong with them.

What should the next argument be about?
Maybe he can start an argument about which type of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese is the best. Original, Spirals, Three Cheese, Thick and Creamy, or Children's shapes?

Well there is where you went wrong. Why are you leaving out all the other brands of mac and cheese? Are you boxed mac and cheese phobic?

OP is obviously a kid... and while I dislike kids in general, all these adults saying "those are the rules" without answering the question give the impression that the rule is pointless. It also makes the adults seem stupid, that they follow rules for the sake of following them.
A rare topic where I'm more annoyed with the adults than the kids.
HYPOCRITE! You were once a kid yourself! As was I and everyone else! (In some cases, "is" rather than "was").
It's disgusting isn't it?
I'm too young to be an old cranky man.

Guess it's all relative as to when you feel it's ok to be a cranky old man.
Is 46 old enough? If so, I'll convert to cranky old man, but figured maybe I'll start at 67 when I retire from employment.

Because they are gross. Store brand doesn't provide enough cheese in the box! LOL!
There are actually very few things where I am picky about brand. Mac and Cheese, Peanut Butter, and Soft Drinks are about all I can think of!
When it comes to other things, like margarine, for instance, who cares? Blue Bonnet, Parkay, Store Brand, they are all the same!

emu pointed out "why"the OP had his accounts closed.
The topic title and first sentence of the OP points out "why" he was banned.
The topic title and OP ask why multiple accounts are an issue in the first place.
Again...emu pointed out the "why" his other accounts were closed. And pointed out "why" its an issue.
As much as people want to hide behind this "I didn't do anything wrong." When in fact they did. All comes down to they didnt read what they were supposed to read.
He did not, and Llama was right to point that out because I immediately noticed this as a problem in the thread. People have to understand exactly why its against the rules. Even though it should be obvious and common sports sense, its especially not in this community.
"Its to prevent rating manipulation or undermining of competitive matches and fair play."
How much clearer does it need to be made? Its a site rule. Do not create multiple accounts.
Is something wrong with you? That does not explain why at all. Its the furthest thing form clear. Lichess literally explains on there TOS why they are not allowed. because it encourages rating manipulation. Chess.com should do the same.
Did you ever try to use this thing called Common Sense. All you have to do is think for 5 seconds what the problem with multiple accounts can be to come up with that conclusion!
Why should chess.com have to spell everything out? Does that mean they need to specifically state every possible maniuplation on this site that is a violation? Do we need to explain to you that things like Online Account Hacking, Online Prostitution, Online Cyberbullying, etc, are also against the Terms of Service? Or have you finally figured out that some things in life are meant to be implied and that the brain should actually be used sometimes?
Believe it or not bud, many people don't have common sense, especially in this community. Especially for children and adults with no online gaming experience. The OP was asking a legitimate question and as Llama pointed out, noone answered it. i immediately had the same disappointing reaction to that and felt it was my duty to inform the person. Something I've been doing for 30 years online in many gaming communities.
Now there is a big fat lie!
The internet didn't exist 30 years ago, and so there is no way you've done 30 years of online gaming.
The internet first came about in 1993, and it was mostly computer science geeks that knew anything about it (I was a freshman in college at the time getting my degree in, you guessed it, computer science).
It wasn't until 1995 that the internet went public to the point that the average joe was on the internet.
So even if you are one of those computer geeks, like me, you haven't been online gaming for more than 28 years tops!

I quit eating boxed artificial chemical crap a little over 4.5 years ago.

See, if it weren't for him saying stuff like that, I'd find him more interesting. Lies that obvious can only come off as a desperate plea for attention.

That's why your accounts got closed... you broke the rules THAT YOU AGREED TO WHEN YOU CREATED YOUR FIRST ACCOUNT.
I see this and I’ve known of this, but then I wonder why people like Hikaru and Gotham can create speed run accounts.

OP is obviously a kid... and while I dislike kids in general, all these adults saying "those are the rules" without answering the question give the impression that the rule is pointless. It also makes the adults seem stupid, that they follow rules for the sake of following them.

My respect for LLama after reading this

They ask for a specific permission because of streaming. When the speedrun is done, I think the account is closed in most cases. On top of it all, the points are refunded for those who lose to these accounts in order to not mess up the ratings.
In some cases (but not all) people who get the permission are even under some kind of contract with chess.com, because that content is like an advertisement for chess and chess.com.
So the reason is that chess.com profit from those accounts in a direct or indirect way (some people start playing chess, some may pay for membership and all that...), and controls them in a sense that they prevent rating manipulation. If someone unrelated do this, there is nothing positive out of it, only problems with rating.
