The most likely explanation is that chess.com staff reset the puzzle rating because the OP has cheated.

There doesn't seem to be any consequences for cheating in puzzles, seeing as the top puzzle players have ratings of over 60,000..... but of course that was in the old puzzle rating system, not puzzle points

The Puzzle Points system still changes ratings and some people disable it and do the original mode.
