I actually think that chess is not a waste of time and is very fun. You can still enjoy the game if you are a below average player. But then again chess is not for everyone.

I hate Chess. I'm lost in Chess. I hate spending long hours in front of my laptop just to look at a 64 squared board. This is an addiction and the most stupid thing to do for a below average player like me.
Chess is a different kind of gambling. If you win you want to win more so you continue playing. If you lose you want to win so again you continue playing. Regardless of the result you continue playing:)

I disagree, however, on your statement that no one should be allowed to play chess on this site. By the same logic, you could say that anything pleasurable should be banned from the world unless it's impossible not to have. Thanks, but I think I'll continue playing for now.
