I just achieved the most beautiful pawn structure in the history of chess.

the more impressive thing in that screenshot isn't the pawnstructure, it's how choked black is

Black is ok. Do these strategy,

Take Bxg5.

Block the centre completely with Bc8, Be6.

And then play a5. Open " A" file.

even after those moves blacks pieces are still limited in movement. ur a 2000 rated player you're gonna understand the position better. from a 1300 players perspective like mine, black looks choked.

A fortress doesn't mind if it's cramped.

It not only looks like a draw, but a mundane draw, and a mundane structure. This topic is still confusing to me.

Here was the game by the way.

White's only real way to make progress is the e6 pawn break, so after 26...Bc8 black can basically just shuffle around waiting for white to offer a draw.

Yeah move 27 was ridiculous, but it was a 1 minute game.

But at some point before that, yeah, white is winning.

Guys do not try to analyze this game. Those super moves and sacrifices are way too advanced for the average Joe. Do not try to understand it, just look and admire a masterpiece when you see one.

27. bxb5 - Why was that move played? Is it a good move?

after 31. Kd7 it's game over anyway, black played some stupid moves.

perhaps it is an easy draw. What would the fortress include of? like was black already in a fortress, or could easily get into one?

Again, I think black is still able to hold, lol.

White Queen is practically not effective in blocked position. My plan is simple, put rooks ( or one rook after exchange) in open "A" file and shuffle rook , here and there, nothing else. (Black Kt is too powerful in "c4" post and white bishop is blocked).

If you think you can win from white, you can play yourself or with assistance from someone or computer analysis/advice.

This position seemed simple to me, I should be able to hold. 🤔

I'm sure I remember seeing a Grandmaster game where one of the players... Black as I recall... ended up with Pawns on all four center squares: e4, d4, e5 and d5.

I've gotten that though one square down.  French defense.  e6 and d5 from opening.  f6xe5.  BxNc6, c7xd6.

Well guys, with big pride and happiness I announce you that I just achieved the impossible pawn structure. 8 pawns so beautifully structured that my opponent immediately resigned as a sign of respect.

I know many of you will say it is photoshop, many others will say that I used an engine. But as you guys know, no engine has achieved the level to do a structure like this.

This game is 100% real. I know that now I have a huge responsibility, since all important chess websites will ask me for interviews and I just received a call from Guiness World Records and they will put my name on the book.

However I know that even though the position is Godly, I must remain humble.

Guys, I will keep giving you lessons for the price of 50 bucks per hour as I did before. You are my inspiration and I promise I will mention you when I get the award of best chess player in history.

Please, don't send me any money or flowers. Only a Thank You and maybe a kiss on the feet will be enough for me.

I'm sorry, but this pawn structure has been already discussed in great lengths by Nimzowitsch. Please re-read My System. He's already pronounced Symslov's chain (the proper name of this structure) as winning for white because of the deadly e pawn.

Can you tell me how they take the point of my cover?

Er... I achieved that position against a 'personality' in Chessmaster 4000 Turbo many years ago. Zit's not that hard or rare if you playing against a passive opponent. Anyway, your computer made me realize how outdated mine is. 😥

The Smyslov chain LOL, you mean the Pashak chain! That is the proper name for it.

Nimzowitsch was not bad for his time, but today he would get smoked

Guys stay in tune because very soon I will announce my new book. It is basically an autobiography where I talk about my roots, my early tournaments, the time a GM told me I would never achieve anything in chess and how I bounced back and absolutely destroyed him in the 2013 world championships, how it is the life of an Universal champion, how I had to deal with bad managers and organizations, the road to break the 3500 ELO mark, and of course a full chapter on this historic day when I achieved this unbelievable position.
Includes also many funny stories about Carlsen, Nakamura, Anand, Kasparov, Karjakin, and other students I had.

So relax, enjoy yourselves and get ready for the best book in the history of mankind.
I absolutely believe that with this book chess will become the most popular sport in the world. I have a meeting with a member of the Rothschild dinasty today in the evening and we will discuss some things.

I don't see why it is such an achievement to get this pawn structure.

I thought it was obvious. He is just having a little fun with us, and he is not at all being serious.

Avatar of Pashak1989

Of course I am being 100% serious!! Have you ever seen such a gorgeous piece of art before? Obviously Not!

BTW I forgot to mention that in my new book I will also talk about my big depression when I got stuck for 6 months in the 3300 ELO mark, damn those times really sucked.
How I solved that problem? Well you will read it in the "The road to 3500" chapter, and it includes the super opening I created: "The Grim Reaper came for his ice cream" and the many variations of it, which I used several times to attain my current 3593 rating.

But then why would he make this entire thread about some random position he came across? Some people will take this seriously (people like me, who are too poor to afford a working sarcasm detector).
