I love Batgirl. Don't you?

Well if Batgirl does not play on this site then she is missing a lot from us. We luv playing on this site! If Batgirl plays only blitz then we too can do it that fast. Can't we? If Batgirl is truly a girl then this is a real bonus for us healthy heteros! Play and Blitz are two things que j'aime in a girl. Vive Paris! Vive Las Vegas! Vive Batgirl! mmwaa! mmwaa!

 I'll take the witty, intelligent and chess playing, but... she's a cartoon! However I do enjoy the posts!

The road leading to the main road is river gravel. I live on a dirt road off that road.  The county's been promising to pave it for the 10 years I've been living there. Now, it seems the state is more broke than ever and most roadwork's been curtailed.  Down along side the road, amid the cedars and scrub pines, honeysuckle grows wild. When in bloom, it smells sweeter than any pastry shop or candy store and the aroma is as delicious as it is pervasive. If the county ever did pave my road, I fear they'd clean up the road-side by widening the road surface. I'd rather have the honeysuckles and the dirt than the more pristine, yet bland, improvements.  Sometimes, maybe even always, good and bad go hand-in-hand.

That's how I feel about this very strange thread.  I guess, like most folks, I like feeling appreciated, or just simply acknowledged and reading different individuals' nice words is very uplifting.  I don't feel as if I seek out such things, and I'm not even sure if they're truly applicable, but I can accepted them in the spirit of their gracious intent.  However, I certainly don't relish the role of some quasi/demi-celebrity du jour. Reading about oneself in the third-person is more than a bit disconcerting and, in fact, embarrassing enough that I had no idea how, or even if, to respond. But good and bad walk hand-in-hand even down old country roads.

MAKAVELIAN, I'm an adult. As such, I can decide for myself when, if or with whom to play a game of chess. I have nothing to prove and no compelling reason to care about your cajoling either here on in private messages.

In my opinion batwoman would be more accurate. She is probably over 35 :-)
