I'm having a hard time with Chess

So, I started playing Chess around 1 month ago, obviously I don't expect to become the greatest player in the world in 1 month or whatsoever, but I'm struggling to win players rated around 1000-1100, specially when playing Blitz. So here's what's bugging me out, I was able to reach ratings over 2000 by solving puzzles, I'm able to win Stockfish on level 4-5 (Stockish level 5 is rated around 1700) most of the times, but when I'm playing live against a player, I don't know what happens, it's like I forgot how to play Chess. Any one knows what's going on ?

Hii! Playing with computer and a real player are two different things.Human minds are able to think different.that's why when you play a real player you get beated by him or her.Take an example of me.Like you I'm also a beginner and started playing chess roughly 3 months ago.I sometimes beat computer level 10 but you can check my ratings to know the reality.

ankitkiran thank you for your reply ! That is true, I just played a game against level 10 here on Chess.com and it doesn't seem that hard, alteast compared to level 8 on lichess.org. I guess I'll just practicing.

You should give a break with blitz. Play rapid or longer games, and go through your games to understand the kind of mistakes you are often doing. If you think you should improve your openings, give a try with Chessable, where you can train systematically. In the long turn your chess will improve.

torrubirubi, thank you for you reply ! I will definitely give a break to Blitz, thanks for mentioning Chessable, will check that out definitely. Have a nice day

You may think your expectations were humble, but you are wrong. You are the definition of EGO. YES, YOU HEARD IT RIGHT.

1 month in chess is not enough to improve, not specially when you just started out and know nothing about the basic stuff. Once you understand chess basics and know what to study you can do some visible improvement in a month but right now? PFFF. YOU CANT. You just need to have fun with the game and read about it. You will start what to study and you may see faster improvement.

Pro tip: Whenever you think you figured chess, SLAP YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU DIDNT. That is a mistake I used to do quite a lot which just led to frustrations.

I HOPE THE BEST FOR YOU COMRADE. HAVE FUN WITH CHESS happy.png

Hey, thank you all for the time you took to give a look at this thread, I just played a game where I had the advantage all the time, yet I managed to lose the game, I'm black by the way.
