I dont remember exactly but when you are on the main page of a club there is a list of options to the right and there is the option "Settings" or something like that in this list
In the Settings you can enable/disable some notifications
If there is nothing about chats then you are doomed

Leave from the club and mute the notifications if it's not your thing
