Don't you play as White or Black and swap every round you play? Also whatever was said in the first page was slightly agreeable, but don't quit, you came this far. If you really wanted to quit you should have quit, in the beginning, you came here this far just to reach 1000 and not go any further? I think you can do better than that, trust me. (I hope that didn't sound mean, i was just trying to motivate you).

no offense but since it's a chess site, i figured someone would try to play it smart.

but i believe you answered yourself.

"

Out of 8,113 blitz games, you played about 4,088 as white and 4,025 as black."

that's correct, games that i played, so let me answer you with this question, but do you have any idea how many games (in which i started as black) did i decline?

what you just showed me does not count all those ton of games i started as black and declined.

Should they be counted since you declined? Isn't that fair? See the numbers even out. Perhaps the site outsmarted you.

Over the two years that your record goes back, you graph is an upward steady line. Your improvement is steady. You have not peaked, and your record shows it. Don’t quit. Please.

Nice positive post.

Sometimes it makes me play as black over & over again but I just take it on the chin like my dear old daddy taught me with his buckle of the belt

thank you, i just find it unreasonable that i lost 200+ points for no reason just like that

idk why it's always used to let me play as black with very low points people than me (before i started to decline games) but it is what it is.

You realize you can customize the rating range when seeking opponents right?

yes i already did this but it takes way too long to start 1 game (over 10minutes)

Why does it matter?

Didn't I read somewhere that when the system figures out that you are aborting because of color, some algorithm kicks in and it just automatically keeps giving you the same color until you accept it?  Or maybe that was just someone's speculation...Seems like a wonderfully devious idea though!

Muisuitglijder

Why do you want to be white so bad? Black lives matter too!

Guys, I found the source code for the chess.com engine, and think I found the root cause:

...
if ( players[white].UserName == "shinuku24")
players.SwitchSides();  // haha let's be a jerk to a random player for no reason
...

What do the point that you lost, gain you in real life?

I have lost a lot of points, which i worked hard for them, lost them all in 1 day, pretty sure anyone else wouldn't be happy about losing that much points in such a short time for no reason

bro I went from 1604 to 1450 in a day. Crawled upward for two months to get back, but it was totally worth. I gained more game experience and never went back down into 1600 again. Recently, dropped from 1918 to 1750. Took me a month to scrape back up to 1900, but again, it was worth it. I never dropped into 1800 after that.

And a few days ago I dropped from 2064 to 1969... And I am in the process of recovering.

why in the world do you hate being black? Take it as a learning experience.Try Sicilian, caro-kan, french def, and don't complain about it in forums

Yeah, you should see my graph, I lost at least like 100 blitz at some point, but you should try playing when you're in a good mood and when you feel motivated. You can't win without failing, no matter how bad it is. Just like talk to chess.com or smtg i'm not sure how it works but you can contact them or smtg

Can’t you just take responsibility for your losses and try and improve. I played against my dad for more than ten years before I could ever beat him. But I didn’t spit dummy out I tried harder
