I have a simple goal, Get to 1000 elo. I've had this goal for about 4 years now and have been hard stuck at 700-800 for most of that time.  My biggest problems are that i give up to easy like 80% of my losses are resignations where i blunder pieces or get out played and just give up. These losses make me feel stupid and make me angry. i just want to have fun again and not take losing so personally. I know i shouldn't make a number my goal and instead should focus on improving but each loss each mistake leaves me so bitter and going back to see where i messed up is like a slap in the face and a reminder of how stupid i am. How do i fix this? how do i turn losses into a learning experience instead of getting angry?

Hi

Instead of obsessing over the 1000 Elo milestone, focus on enjoying the process of learning and playing. This removes pressure and allows you to play with a freer mind.
