I was winning but the resignation miraculously came from me?? Is this a bug?

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section, so please correct me if this wrong.
Here is my question and slight frustration,  I was playing a game against someone  https://www.chess.com/game/daily/291468770
the end position for me as black, I was clearly winning, I did not push any resign button whatsoever and even if I did, I'd have to make another error of actually pushing the yes button.
We were pretty much playing live at this point despite the daily move schedule.
It was late at night and all of a sudden I get the resignation.
At that point I was like, okay, gg, you were clearly losing so you resigned. I was tired, went to sleep and to my absolute astonishment I saw that I resigned!
So my question?
Is this a glitch or a known bug?  So he resigns and I get the resignation?
I really can't imagine me making two mistakes as I said before (pressing the resign button and pressing the yes button) especially since we were almost playing live at that point.
Can anyone come up with another explanation?
Thanks.

No, this may be the right section of forums. Anyway, maybe this is a bug or glitch? This has never happened to me.

Happens to me 10 times in less than 3days, I'm really wondering what is the origin of this bug

Hi, It just happened to me too. I'm astonished. It was a rapid game. In the middle game. There were no reason for resigning for any part, and all of the sudden the game was resign, BY ME!! But I didn't. I'm very mad

I think there is a some badly handled connections drop in engine.

It happened to me 4 times last night.  Didn't even match me to anyone (spent searching endlessly searching for match), and then when I hit reload, showed that I resigned the game. (0 moves were played). What the hell!?!

Chess.com most likely pulled the plug on the servers while you were playing for regular maintenance.

Yes, but the game was lost instead of aborted, it seems.
